Meet Michelle - CWCS Vice President

Calling Chestermere home for 20 years, I have had the
honour of raising a family here and watching our city
grow. I have taken great pride in being very involved in
the community - volunteering, serving on City Council and
even running a business here. With a strong administration
background and leadership, I don't shy away from hard work.
Why I got involved - I think you’d be hard pressed to find any person that hasn’t been touched by domestic abuse or hasn’t known someone who has. It is very much a growing problem. Women in this situations are often made to feel isolated, alone and that there is no help. Something had to be done. Whether it is a physical need to shelter, clothing, food - or emotional support and a listening ear, it is my mission to ensure these women do not feel alone and that there is no other option. We want to be the light for them during a very dark time.
